ANTHEA TURNER
SWITCHES ON LIGHTS AT PRINCES MEAD FOR PHYLLIS TUCKWELL
Princes Mead Shopping
Centre is getting dressed up for a special occasion this week, with the
support of British Gas. Anthea Turner will be arriving on Saturday 17th
November to turn on the lights after the traditional parade and this year
the Christmas Tree will play a memorable part in the festive season for the
Farnborough community.
The Phyllis Tuckwell
Hospice is fortunate to have the support of both the Princes Mead Shopping
Centre in Farnborough and British Gas for the whole Christmas period.
For five weeks leading up
to Christmas Day, shoppers will be able to light a light on the tree in
memory of a loved one and sign a book of remembrance in return for a
donation to the Hospice.
Anthea will be meeting Eli
the Bear, Buzzy, R.J., Crazy M, Big Bobby and Big Billy, as they all help to
make this an exciting day.
Entertainment starts at
1pm, culminating with the parade and the ‘official switch on’ by Anthea at
4.30pm.
