The Physiotherapy service at the Hospice is used by patients on the wards and in Day Care. The physiotherapist makes a careful assessment of a patient's current and future needs and develops an individual programme with them to enable them to continue as full and active life as possible. The Hospice physiotherapist also works closely with the community physiotherapist and District Nurses when appropriate to ensure as smooth a transition as possible from the Hospice to home.
