COFFEE IN THE COMMUNITY

Catching up with old friends?
Enjoy meeting new people?
Eager to help your local Hospice?

Why not attend a coffee morning with a
difference, or even host one yourself?
contact Claire Walker

COFFEE IN THE COMMUNITY is a new event being launched in September.  We hope that it will expand over future months as more and more people hear about the work of Phyllis Tuckwell and offer to hold coffee mornings of their own.

The idea is simple:
Choose a date and time in the week commencing 1 1'1' September that suits you.

Invite 10 friends to come and have coffee on that date.

Ring Claire at the Hospice (01252 729400) and she will provide you with a set of Phyllis Tuckwell mugs, coffee and biscuits, a form to fill in and some leaflets about the Hospice.

If you would like, a member of staff from the Hospice will come to your coffee morning to meet your guests, tell them about our work and answer any questions they might have.

It would be lovely to have the names and addresses of your guests so that they in turn can be invited to hold a coffee morning the next time COFFEE IN THE COMMUNITY takes place.  Please ask everyone to add their details to the form provided with your mugs.
At the end of your coffee morning, give each guest a mug to take home.

Why hold a coffee morning?
It's a good chance to catch up with friends you may riot have seen for a while.
To spread the word about the Hospice.
To raise funds - please suggest that your guests give a contribution of
£5.

What to do when it's over
If you have any mugs or coffee left over, call Claire who will arrange for them to be returned to the Hospice, or passed on to another host for the next coffee morning.

Collect your donations, then either write a cheque or, if you prefer, bring in cash to the Hospice. (cheques payable to Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice)

Please send or bring the money together with your form to: Claire Walker, Community Fundraiser, Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice, Waverley Lane, Farnham, Surrey GU9 8BL.

THANK YOU!!!
