The Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice

LIGHT UP A LIFE

Over the Christmas period, many of us remember close friends and members of our family who are no longer with us.  This year, Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice would like to invite you to celebrate with us the life of someone who was very dear to you.

During the coming festive season, hundreds of lights will decorate the Christmas tree here.

Each will shine out in memory of someone special.

Turning on the Lights…

This year’s Light Up A Life service will be held at the Hospice on Monday, 11 December 2000 at 6:30 p.m. and will be led by our chaplain, Canon Martyn Farrant.

The lights will then shine out continuously until Twelfth Night.

If you would like to sponsor a light to celebrate the life of a friend or relative, please click here to print and complete the form and send it to the Hospice.  It could be for anyone who was special to you.

You are most welcome to come along to the service on December 11.

The service will be held outside, so please wrap up warmly.  You may also wish to bring a torch to help you read the service sheet and join in with the hymns.

Please not that you will not be able to park at the Hospice on the evening of the service.

Parking will be available at the school next door.

Refreshments will be served in the Hospice Day Care Centre after the service.  Please do join us for a cup of tea or coffee and a mince pie.
