What is Light Up A Life?
Light Up A Life is a time of celebration and reflection, remembering the life and love of those who are dear to us by dedicating a light on our Christmas trees in their memory. Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice would like to invite you to honour the memory of those we have lost. Whether you are already a supporter or have never been involved with the Hospice, this invitation is open to everyone who would like to celebrate the life and love of those who are dear to us. In addition to dedicating a light on our tree, you can also fill out a dedication candle in memory of someone special which will be displayed in our Book of Remembrance at the Hospice.
How do I dedicate a candle?
You can call us on 01252 729446 to request a hard copy of the leaflet or email us at [email protected]. Or you can make your dedication online through our webshop.(If you choose to sponsor your candle online, please use the candle below to print out and send in to us if you would like us to add it to our display in our Book of Remembrance. If you aren't able to print it out, there will be an option to request a candle from us in the post when you make your donation online.) Alternatively you can make your dedication in any of our 13 shops, where we will also be displaying candles in the weeks leading up to the event.
How will my message be displayed?
After the Light Up A Life service, which took place on 6 December, your candle will be displayed in our Book of Remembrance at the Hospice. Please return your completed candle with your donation form to the Hospice if you would like us to add it to our display. (If you would like to light up a life without a message on the candle, please return the form on its own. You might like to keep the candle for your own tree.)
