Fleet shop re-opening
Fleet shop opens after fire in May
After we were forced to shut our shop in Fleet in May due to a fire which started outside causing a significant amount of damage, we are delighted to announce that Fleet born actress, Raquel Cassidy, star of hit TV shows including Lead Balloon and DCI Banks, will be cutting the ribbon to re-open the shop on Friday 14 October 2011 from 12 noon.
There are lots of treats in store at the opening including the chance to win a scrumptious afternoon tea for up to six people at the stunning Elvetham Hotel in Fleet for everyone who donates a bag of items on the day. Starbucks will also be on hand serving refreshments and Farnham based company Caketoppers has kindly donated some tasty cupcakes for supporters to enjoy on the day. Watch this space for more information!
“We would like to say a huge thank you to the local community and everyone else who has supported us over the past few months by donating and buying stock from our other 12 shops,” says Peter Foxton, Head of Retail at Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice. “We would also like to say a big thank you to Pure Clean who has donated a fridge for the staff and volunteer rest area. Our shops contribute significantly towards the £15,000 we need to raise everyday to continue offering our full range of services so we are delighted to be in a position to reopen our shop in Fleet.”
Staff and volunteers look forward to welcoming you into the new look shop shortly!
If you would like to make a stock donation prior to the 14 October, please take your items to the Donation Centre in Dogflud Way, Farnham or our Warehouse in Obelisk Way, Camberley. For more information please call 01252 729420.
