Anton Du Beke and Erin Boag support Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice’s Strictly Dancing event

Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice has just confirmed that BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing stars, Anton Du Beke and Erin Boag, will be joining them at Lakeside Country Club on Friday 20 May 2011 for a fun filled evening of dancing in aid of the Hospice.

People are encouraged to arrive at 7:15pm for a 7.30pm start, where popular snooker pro, Willie Thorne and former Strictly Come Dancing contestant, will be host for the evening.

In addition to stunning ballroom dances from Anton and Erin, there will be ballroom and latin lessons for everyone to join in with as well as live music from Lance Ellington, who regularly performs on the hit BBC show, and the band Premier Cru, for those who are quick enough to grab a ticket.

“This fantastic event is set to be even bigger and better this year,” says Ruth Scammell, Community and Events Fundraising Manager. “Tickets are limited so if you are interested in sitting back and watching the stars in action, please grab a ticket while they last. After the success of last years event, Strictly Dancing is becoming an extremely popular event in the Hospice’s calendar and we are very grateful to Bob Potter OBE for kindly donating the use of his renowned Lakeside Country Club for the night for the third year running. All ages are welcome to attend, no dance partners are necessary. There will be no obligation to take to the floor if you would prefer to sit back and just enjoy the show.
