Help the Hospices

Help the Hospices are our umbrella charity, working toward improving access to the very best care for everyone facing the end of life. They support their hospice members and other organisations as they strive to grow and improve end of life care throughout the UK and across the world.

Hospice Home Support

Hospice Home Support (HHS) is a registered charity, providing volunteer support to patients and their families in their own home. Hospice Home Support trains volunteers to support and assist patients suffering from illnesses that no longer respond to curative treatment. Recognising the great stress caused by serious illness, both to the patient and to those in the caring role, Hospice Home Support helps patients to stay in their own home, sometimes for much longer than would otherwise be possible.
