Job Purpose:

To support the Showroom Manager in the preparation, uploading and dispatching of goods on the hospices online retail operations.

Responsibilities:

 Identify suitable goods for sale in the appropriate online market place by conducting appropriate research.

  • Upload onto the appropriate site the goods for sale providing correct descriptions of the product and its condition.
  • Maintain the minimum goods for sale quantities as set by the Showroom Manager.
  • Answering customer queries and responding to feedback requests from online marketplaces.
  • Ensure the most economic use of packaging to obtain the best margin on each individual product.
  • Ensuring that all goods sold online are despatched within the marketplace deadlines.
  • Support the Showroom Manager in keeping accurate records of the goods sold both for accounting purposes and to inform future decisions on what stock to sell.
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping in the Online office ensuring that Health and Safety standards are maintained at all times.
  • Ensure that all high value goods and equipment are stored safely and securely.
  • Utilise social media to promote online sales in line with agreed hospice policies.
