GET READY TO PICNIC TO MUSIC IN THE PARK IN FARNBOROUGH AGAIN THIS YEAR!
The Rotary Club of Farnborough is delighted to announce that with the help of other local Rotary Clubs they will once again stage Picnic to Music in the Park in aid of the Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice in King George V Park, Sycamore Road, Farnborough on Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th July 2013.
This years entertainment will be provided on the Saturday by two of the top tribute bands in Europe, and seeing the return of one of the most successful tribute bands ever, Killer Queen, who will be supported by Counterfeit Quo, the very successful Status Quo tribute band - both groups have been “going down a storm” all over the country and throughout Europe.
Whilst on the Sunday we will be featuring for the first time the famous Motown Show with eight live acts, featuring 8 high profile tribute bands, including The Four Tops, The Temptations, The Supremes and the Jackson 5 - it’s going to be a fantastic evening with something for everyone of all age groups.
Ticket prices remain at the same price levels of our last successful event in 2011, and we would urge people to take advantage of our Early Bird ticket savings, which means that those who purchase their tickets before the 31st May will be able to get them at the discounted price of £17 each.
After the 31st May, tickets bought in advance of the event will be £20 each, but if you leave buying your tickets until the day of the event the charges will be £30 for all tickets. The organisers urge please book early to avoid disappointment as we are expecting this event to be sold out very quickly.
As with previous Music in the Park events all proceeds will be going to the Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice - we hope this year will make the 2013 event the most successful ever.
