SALLY'S STORY

Sally, in her forties, lives in Farnborough with her partner and two sons. She has cancer and has been supported by the Hospice for the last year and a half.

She was initially cared for at home with weekly visits by the Community Nurse Specialist. She now comes to the Day Hospice once a week and is currently being cared for in the In-Patient Unit.

“I cannot say enough about the incredible care and kindness of the staff here at the Hospice and out in the Community. As my illness has progressed, I have had panic attacks and shortness of breath and they have really helped me to conquer this. I have experienced such a breadth of care and the services here are so well co-ordinated. If they say something is going to happen, it happens!”
