Job Purpose

To initiate and develop beneficial partnerships with corporate businesses, to meet the income targets for Corporate Fundraising and Challenge Events.

Responsibilities

Responsibility for prospecting and developing new and existing corporate contacts, aiming to maximise all fundraising opportunities with these contacts.

• Working with The Head of Fundraising to develop and implement an innovative corporate programme to engage and develop corporate support at all levels within an organisation.
• Manage the corporate fundraising budget to achieve target income with budgeted expenditure.
• Create structured and persuasive approaches to corporate contacts. Design activities and opportunities to access all possible areas of available budgets within the business community.
• Responsibility for identifying and approaching Corporate Foundations / Trusts, working closely with the Trust Fundraisers.
• Proactively research and identify opportunities within our catchment area that can be utilised as corporate fundraising tools. Monitor activities of other charities to ensure that those of PTH are appropriate and efficiently run avoiding duplication.
• Work closely with the Voluntary Services Manager to ensure corporate volunteering programmes are tied into the overall corporate strategy.
