Important message for our supporters

It has come to our attention that some local people are receiving unsolicited telephone calls from a bogus caller saying they are ringing on behalf of the Hospice and asking for a donation over the phone. We would like to reassure you that we would never ask directly for donations over the phone or for personal credit card details to be given during an unsolicited telephone call.

From time to time, we may use the telephone to update our current supporters on some of the many developments currently going on at the Hospice, but we would always direct you to our website and/or the Hospice itself should you wish to make or change your donation. We would never seek personal banking or credit card details over the phone.

Please note that if you have set up a standing order for the Hospice you may receive a call from us to establish if you would like to change the amount you donate. If you have any queries or are in any doubt about the bona fide nature of a telephone call on behalf of the Hospice, we would encourage you to contact us direct on 01252 729446 where a member of our team would be happy to help.

In addition Tuckwell Chase Lottery is running a new member recruitment campaign so you may receive a call from the team if you live in our catchment area. If you have any queries about calls from the Lottery please contact them on 01252 728 411.
