Physiotherapy
The Physiotherapy service at the Hospice is used by patients on the ward and in Day Hospice. The physiotherapists make a careful assessment of a patient's current and future needs and develop an individual programme with them to enable them to continue as full and active a life as possible.
The Hospice Physiotherapists also work closely with the community Physiotherapist and District Nurses when appropriate to ensure as smooth a transition as possible from the Hospice to home.
