 Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice Big Pub Quiz

Hold an in-house quiz night at your pub or club in aid of the Hospice

 

Pubs and Clubs taking part:

Fleet Football Club  - March 10th - they raised £215
The Wheatsheaf Inn, West Street, Farnham - Wednesday, 22nd March - they raised £100

Barley Mow, Littleworth Road, The Sands, Farnham - Sunday, 9th April - Time to be confirmed
Jolly Sailor, West Street, Farnham - Wednesday, 12th April at 8.00p.m.
The White Hart, Queens Road, Aldershot - Date to be confirmed

 Big Pub Quiz Details

  1. Any pub/club/social group is invited to take part.
     
  2. The first round is to be held in individual pubs and the winners go forward to represent their pub.
     
  3. The names of the winning team members must be recorded at the time of the first round – as these are the representatives for the pub in future rounds. Substitutes will only be allowed in exceptional circumstances.
     
  4. The cost of entry is £2 per person.
     
  5. A team may consist of up to 5 members.
     
  6. As many teams as possible are encouraged to take part.
     
  7. A set of quiz questions is available to pubs if needed.
     
  8. The first round of the quiz must be completed before 15th April.
     
  9. Pubs that cannot hold an in house quiz are encouraged to submit a team  for the regional final.
     
  10. For pubs holding their quiz nights in Feb/March – all monies raised must be submitted to the hospice by 31st March. April quiz proceeds to be with the hospice by 20th April.
     
  11. Please consider contributing 10p per drink sold on the evening of your quiz as all proceeds will be put  towards the World Record Attempt to lay the longest line of coins – coins – 60Kms of 10p coins.
