The Patient Welfare Team provide advice, information and assistance in financial and legal issues that a patient or their carer might encounter when facing a life-limiting illness.  The patient welfare team advise on matters such as claiming welfare benefits, utilising private healthcare insurance or dealing with debts.  They will also advise and assist with legal issues, such as drawing up an enduring power of attorney or making a Will and in practical matters such as planning a funeral.
