My lovely step father passed away at the hospice in March 2004. I
want to say a huge thank you for all you did to make him comfortable
in his last days.
You are all angels. I wish everyone at the hospice, staff and
current patients, a wonderful Christmas 2006. xxxx

I am leaving this message as a token of thanks for the care you
showed Darren 'Wiz' Brown. I was a big fan of the man and his music
and his various bands played a major part in my life over the years.
He will be sorely missed by lots of people. Rest in Peace Wiz, you
are a true star !. You're dancing days will never be over !!

I think the Hospice is a marvellous place, and does such good work,
that I would like to support it by buying Christmas cards and
wrapping paper which I have just done.

Very nice to visit your site - would love to come in person but too
far!! Good luck with all that you do from our hospice in NZ - we
have 10 inpatient beds and about 200 community patients. I have seen
your Resuscitation policy and I am very impressed as we are having
some struggle to implement one for ourselves that is appropriate and
sensitive.

The staff at Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice in Farnham did a fantastic job
of caring for my Grandad in his last few weeks before he passed on.
Thank you to all, you're a wonderful charity and I would like to
offer all of my support to you now.

My mother-in-law, Shirley was at the Hospice until she sadly passed
away on September 14th. I would just like to say how wonderful all
the staff were, all so caring and could not do enough for the
family. We are sure if it wasn't for the care that you gave, she
would never had made our wedding. THANK YOU.

Research after dad was admitted here
Aliso Viejo, California, USA

Dad was admitted to your hospice Friday Sept 15th with end stage
pancreatic/liver cancer. I arrived from California 4 days later and
dad passed away 2 days after that on Sept 21st. All the staff here
were absolutely wonderful and treated my dad with dignity and
respect to the very end of his life. I deeply appreciate all the
staff who were so kind to my brothers and myself also. When we went
to see dad in your Chapel of Rest I was deeply moved at the peace
and serenity that surrounded him and the atmosphere was most
tranquil. Thank you and please continue with your most outstanding
work for others. May you never be corrupted by NHS involvement. Best
wishes.

It's been great browsing through your website. Thank you so much to
the nurses who supported my sister (Janet Raines) through her recent
battle with breast cancer. Your loving concern for her physical
health as well as her general wellbeing was felt by all the family.
Thank you too for the support you gave me (although I only
experienced your help during her last week with us). God bless you
all.

We know how good the Hospice was for Melanie Norris, her Mum,
Margaret and Dad Ted so want to make a donation to help keep the
place fully functioning. We already subscribe to the monthly ticket
draw. We do what we can.

My Brother William (Bill) is with you for respite
Taunton Somerset
June 9, 2006
My brother was confirmed at the Phyllis Tuckwell back in February
and we came up to support him. My other brother Bob and I were made
so welcome and we got to meet the Chaplain and the Bishop of
Dorking. It was such a lovely little service and tea afterwards with
a cake made especially for Bill by the catering staff for which we
were so grateful. Keep up the good work, you certainly are very
special people.

I would like to especially thank Fran Patterson for letting me join
her to see how the Hospice works as a project for work. I am now
hoping to help the hospice in anyway I can, hopefully encouraging
other work colleagues to do the same. To all the staff and
volunteers at the hospice, thank you for sharing your time with me,
there are people out there that care and I think I found them at the
hospice

My daddy passed away when I was four, I'm 13 now and I was pleased
to see that my Daddy passed away in such a caring place. I'm now
doing a sponsored run for this hospice in his memory and I hope to
raise a lot of money so that you can care as much as you did for my
Daddy to many other people, thank you so much.

My beloved, beautiful sister Annie died at PTH on 15/03/06 and I can
honestly say that she received the most wonderful care. The staff
were so loving and caring not only to Annie but to all of her family
and friends that came to be with her in her final days. I will
forever be indebted to you all.
Please carry on all the wonderful work you do and we, as a family,
will do all we can to raise funds. Lorrayne

I wanted to leave a message in memory of my mum who died at the
Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice on 22/02/06. From the moment we walked in I
knew that mum was now in the right place. I will be forever grateful
to all the nurses for making Mums last days so peaceful, allowing
her to slip away with dignity.

My mum's cousin, Mrs Eileen Cobb, passed away on the 2nd February
2006 after being in your care for a few weeks. We would both like to
thank you so very much for the wonderful care that we know you gave
her - she was such a lovely lady. We will always miss her but to
know that she was cared for so well in her final few weeks helps
enormously. We have made a small donation in her memory, if only it
could be more. God bless and thank you once again.

You are currently have my sister Annie in your care. I would like to
say how impressed I have been with the quality of love and care you
are showing to my sister. Our friend Jason Robinson organised a
concert last November to raise funds for 3 cancer charities,
including yourselves and we hope to do some more fundraising this
year in order that we can help you to provide your wonderful service
to others for many years to come.
Yours sincerely
Lorrayne
