Sadly my mother Joan Clarkson passed away on 4th March 2003 at your
wonderful hospice. She spent her final birthday with you and you
all made it so wonderful for her. She could have not wished to be
anywhere better and I know that she was happy to be in such a
special place. My family think of you all often and cannot ever
thank you enough for all your support to us all. Much love to you
all.

My dad recently passed away after staying at the hospice. I have
written many times and I have received counseling. That is a great
help to come to terms with my great loss. Thank you all once again.
I hope to come visit in the summer.

I lost my nan recently, 4 May, and you were very kind in making sure
she was comfortable. Sadly she did lose a short battle, and we were
upset especially mum who had spent most of her time looking after
nan. Once again thank you for all the support you gave my mum who
had worked at the Phyllis Tuckwell for over 17 yrs. Thank you.

We lost our son Michael Jackman on March 21st, 2003 aged 31. The
care and love he received at the hospice was exceptional. I only
wish all patients regardless of what illness, let alone cancer, had
this care in the NHS. We miss him so much.

I work for a hospice company called Hospice in His Hands. I was
searching for marketing ideas and ran across your site. Its great
to see a hospice that is so involved in so much. the volunteer
newsletter is great, and the inpatient unit looks beautiful. The
hospice industry in the states must be very different than in UK.
I'd love to come and visit, and learn as much as I can about how you

My son is at present in the hospice and I just wanted to know more
about it. he is so much more comfortable being in there and
hopefully we shall bring him home. I wish I could shout out about
the care he is receiving but to be sure I shall be letting others
know of the website and the sterling work that goes on.
