Pennies From Heaven - We Need Your Help!!

The Hospice has many pubs, shops and other establishments that kindly display collection boxes. We are very grateful to everyone in the community who helps by keeping a box, putting their loose change in the boxes, or volunteering to collect the full boxes and replace them on a regular basis.

Do you know of any shops, pubs or petrol stations that might display a collection tin for the hospice? We have set a target of 1000 tins to be out in the community by September of this year!! A tall order, but with your help it is achievable. If everyone connected with the hospice could find just 1 new site, we will reach the target very quickly indeed.

So on your next visit to your local shops, why not have a look and check that they have one of our tins. If they don't, please ask if they would consider it. When they say “Yes, of course!!”, please contact Julie Thomas by email on [email protected] or call Julie on 07812 132690.

Tin cleaning
Due to the high turnover of collecting tins, we are desperately looking for volunteers who have dishwashers!! If you feel you could help out by taking a bag (or 2) of used tins to pop in your dishwasher each week, please contact Julie Thomas by email on [email protected] or call Julie on 07812 132690.
